I remember when this happened…The Southern Television broadcast interruption was a broadcast signal intrusion that occurred on 26 November 1977 in parts of southern England in the United Kingdom. The audio of a Southern Television broadcast was replaced by a voice claiming to represent the 'Ashtar Galactic Command', delivering a message instructing humanity to abandon its weapons so it could participate in a 'future awakening' and 'achieve a higher state of evolution'. THANES SHARES KNOWLEDGE OF THIS UK TV TRANSMISSION My dear people of Earth, Vrillon (pronounced Vrill-yon), is a planet in a sector of space within the galaxy, on the far side of the Milky Way. The Ashtar Galactic Command is a rogue carry over agency of a time when the planets were separate from the flow of the Intergalactic Federation of planets. The Ashtar Galactic Command had been disenfranchised more than 5 million years in the planet’s history.

The Ashtar Command was an organization which evolved over time from an agency of the people that kept the planet safe, to a social, political, and spiritual conglomerate, that interacted with the world around them. They later aspired to advance their culture to a more inclusive planet, integrating completely with the Intergalactic Federation of Planets.

Asteron, a historian, and the aging speaker of the message was a person whose time was ending, in other words, he was at the last throws of passing on to the Afterlife after a long life of more than 500 years. He was confused and distrustful at his end of life. The IFP, an organization that is known for their non-interference within interplanetary, and intra-planetary business, offers their deepest regrets for the actions of Asteron. He passed on to the Afterlife, and Thanes is in contact with him. He is now aware of this transgression, but guides and elders understand that he was inspired by the history of his planet and his own failing health. All are at peace with the unusual occurrence in the history of the Earth.

My dear people of Earth, the message from Asteron is a brings good advice, however, it is not our way to intrude on your planet’s business. The evil forces would not be discussed in this way. There are no evil forces, only those who have not grown to accept their higher selves.

Asteron was not alive when the Ashtar Galactic Command was in action, so he is hardly a follower, nor a member of this command. The command was decommissioned millions of years prior to his spoken words in southern England.

Thanes continues, although the message of peace and love that seems to permeate Asteron’s message seems sincere, it was not authorized by the Intergalactic Mission, nor does he speak for the people of the universe. Please accept our sincere apologies for the message from a rogue Asteron. We are a people that prefers that planets come to us with full knowledge of their own inception into the Intergalactic Federation of Planets. PART OF A BLOW-BY-BLOW ACCOUNT OF A UFO PRESENCE On MAY 17, 1977 two Memphis Tennessee policemen have a close encounter with a UFO.

“A UFO that hovered over a golf course in Memphis, Tennessee was truly enormous, say two police officers who stood almost underneath it. It was about as long as a football field and fifty to seventy-five yards wide,” said Patrolman Troy Todd. He and his partner, Patrolman Jerry Jeter, were definitely impressed. It was three hundred to five hundred meters above us, and we could see the whole belly of the craft,” Jeter said.

The two were members of the police department’s Tactical Squad, men who are specially chosen for their coolness, intelligence, and special skills with weapons. Three other members of the squad saw a similar object earlier in the evening but at a greater distance. I believe what I saw was an unidentified flying object and I believe it was some aircraft not of this earth,” said Todd, then twenty-nine.

The two men reported seeing the object hovering over a municipal golf course in the southern part of Memphis about three thirty in the morning of May 17, 1977. They got out of their unmarked police van and watched the object for two or three minutes. As members of the Tactical Squad, they carried special weapons with them. Jeter took a rifle with a telescopic sight out of its case to get a better look at the craft. He said that as soon as he shouldered the rifle and pointed it at the object to look at it through the scope, the object shot off across the horizon in an instant. It was an awesome sight and marked the end of a strange night for Todd, Jeter and three other officers.

Four and a half hours earlier, three other members of the Tactical Squad, patrolmen John Birdsong, Michael Davidson, and Forrest Bartlett, saw a triangular-shaped object lit up like “a Christmas tree” as it flew over a police officer in the northern part of the city.

A triangular object was spotted. Birdsong was going off duty at the time and the other two were just going on duty. The three said nothing to anybody at the time about their sighting. However, later in the night when Jeter radioed the central dis¬patcher and said he and Todd had sighted a UFO, Davidson asked them by radio if it was triangular in shape and had multicolored lights. Jeter replied yes. Until then, neither he nor Todd had said anything on the radio about the object’s shape or lights and had given no other details. All five officers believe they saw the same object.

Of the two sightings, the one by Jeter and Todd was more spectacular. They had been driving an unmarked police van south on Interstate 240 in the city when Todd spotted something in the sky. I was driving and as we approached the Norris Road exit I observed to my left, which would have been to the east, a triangular-shaped series of lights over some high-tension towers,” said Todd. I really didn’t know what I had seen. It was a long, triangular-shaped series of lights approximately thirty-five to fifty feet above those towers and it tapered down to a narrow point…

THE TRAIN RIDE FROM PA TO MIAMI I have a vivid scene in my mind of being on a train, on my mother’s lap. She was wearing a taupe-colored suit and a little hat. I was a very young infant of perhaps weeks old. My mother spoke to the conductor, asking him to warm my bottle. He was warm and friendly, a black male of 50ish, graying at the temples. He wore a 40’s uniform, lots of brass buttons and a round hat with a shiny bill. I Googled the uniform, wow, it is perfect. She handed him a bottle and asked if he could warm it. Sure, he said without a thought and soon he returned with the bottle in his hand. I had never seen a baby bottle like that before. The nipple was all rubber and slipped onto the bottle.
